BISHOP ROBERT WILLIAMS, BORN IN CLEVELAND, OHIO.

GRADUATED FROM MAX S. HAYES VOCATIONAL HIGH SCHOOL.

JOINED THE U.S ARMY IN AUGUST OF 1972, COMPLETING BASIC

COMBAT TRAINING AT FORT POLK, L.A, GRADUATED IN 1973 FROM

THE U. S. ARMY SIGNAL SCHOOL AT FORT GORDON, GA.

COMPLETED A GRADUATES COURSE IN COMMUNICATIONS AT THE

SEVENTH CORP U.S ARMY SIGNAL SCHOOL IN 1973.

 

BISHOP WILLIAMS WAS CALLED INTO THE MINISTRY IN

SEPTEMBER 1976, HE LEFT THE MILITARY IN ANSWER TO THAT

CALL IN JULY 1977. HE RETURNED TO CLEVELAND WHERE

PASTOR A.C ZORN OF GOSPEL HALL BAPTIST CHURCH LATER

LICENSED HIM IN OCTOBER, 1977 INTO THE MINISTRY.

 

BISHOP WILLIAMS BECAME AN ACTIVE MEMBER OF THE BAPTIST

MINISTER'S CONFERENCE AND TRAINED UNDER THE MINISTERS

OF THE SAME CONFERENCE. IN SEPTEMBER 1978.

 

BISHOP WILLIAMS RETURNED TO THE MILITARY,

MOVING HIS FAMILY TO FORT JACKSON, SC WHERE HE UNITED

WITH ANTIOCH MISSIONARY BAPTIST CHURCH, UNTIL THE

RETIREMENT OF THE PASTOR IN 1980. HE THEN UNITED WITH

REHOBOTH UNITED APOSTOLIC CHURCH OF JESUS CHRIST, UNDER

THE LEADERSHIP OF BISHOP C.L. LORICK, Sr.

 

IN MAY OF 1981 BISHOP WILLIAMS WAS DEPLOYED TO KOREA

WHERE HE BEGAN HIS FIRST OUTREACH MINISTRY UNTIL HIS

DEPARTURE IN MAY OF 1982. RETURNING TO THE UNITED STATES,

HE MOVED TO KILLEEN, TX WHERE HE UNITED WITH ZION

TEMPLE (C.O.G.I.C.) UNDER THE LEADERSHIP OF

SUPERINTENDENT E.R. BILLIE.

 

BISHOP WILLIAMS LATER FOUND AND OPENED THE

REHOBOTH OUTREACH APOSTOLIC MINISTRY IN 1983.

IN MAY OF 1985, BISHOP WILLIAMS WAS DEPLOYED TO GERMANY

WHERE HE ESTABLISHED TWO (2) SEPARATE MINISTRIES. ONE IN

THE TOWN MENDEN AND THE OTHER IN WERL. HE ALSO SERVED

AS THE RELIGIOUS COORDINATOR FOR THE 69TH/15TH U.S. ARMY,

FIELD ARTILLERY GROUPS UNTIL HE DEPARTED IN JUNE 1988.

HE WAS TRANSFERRED TO FORT STEWART, GA WHERE HE

STARTED THE REHOBOTH OUTREACH APOSTOLIC MINISTRIES,

AND A LOCAL GOSPEL RADIO BROADCAST AND CONTINUED IN

THIS MINISTRY UNTIL HE WAS DEPLOYED TO PANAMA CITY,

PANAMA. THERE HE SERVED AS PASTOR OF HOWARD/KOBBE

GOSPEL SERVICE AT HOWARD, AFB PANAMA FROM JANUARY 1990

TO DECEMBER OF 1992.

 

BISHOP WILLIAMS WAS THEN TRANSFERRED TO ABERDEEN, MD

WHERE HE SERVED AS ASSOCIATE ELDER TO BISHOP C.J. BARNES

OF HIGHWAY HOLINESS APOSTOLIC CHURCH.

 

HE RETIRED FROM THE MILITARY IN 1994. BISHOP WILLIAMS

LATER TRAVELED TO CAPE HAITIAN, HAITI ON FOREIGN

MISSIONS. BISHOP WILLIAMS RETURNED TO THE UNITED

STATES IN MID 1995 TO ATTEND COLUMBIA BIBLE COLLEGE,

WHERE HE STUDIED, PASTORAL MINISTRY. AFTER SCHOOL, HE

TRAVELED TO KAPOSVAR, HUNGARY AS AN INDEPENDENT

CONTRACTOR FOR THE U.S ARMY. AFTER RETURNING TO THE

STATES IN 1996 WHEN HE UNITED WITH ZION TEMPLE HOLINESS

CHURCH IN MIDWAY, GA UNDER THE LEADERSHIP OF ELDER

NATHANIEL WALTHOUR.

 

IN 1998 BISHOP WILLIAMS RELOCATED TO CLEVELAND, OHIO

AND STARTED THE REHOBOTH OUTREACH APOSTOLIC

MINISTRIES, Inc.

 

IN 1999 HE BECAME THE INTERIM PASTOR OF LITTLE START

MISSIONARY BAPTIST CHURCH, UNTIL ONE WAS ELECTED. HE

THEN BEGIN TO WORK WITH BISHOP C.G. JOHNSON, PASTOR OF

CHRIST TEMPLE APOSTOLIC CHURCH IN YOUNGSTOWN, OHIO AND

CONTINUED WITH THE OPERATION OF REHOBOTH OUTREACH

APOSTOLIC MINISTRIES HELPING OTHER CHURCHES

THROUGHOUT THE CLEVELAND AREA UNTIL UNITING WITH

TRINITY OUTREACH MINISTRIES. UNDER THE LEADERSHIP OF

PASTOR ANDREW D. CLARK SR. HE SERVED AS FIRST ASSOCIATE

PASTOR.

 

BISHOP WILLIAMS WAS ORDAINED TO ELDER AT FIRST UNITED

APOSTOLIC CHURCH OF JESUS CHRIST, BALTIMORE, MD IN JUNE

1983, BY BISHOP MONROE R. SANDERS, Sr. AND ORDAINED TO

BISHOPRIC AT THE POWER OF JESUS CHRIST RESURRECTION

CHURCH, IN NASHVILLE, TN IN 2003 BY BISHOP JIMMY L. HORTON, JR.

 

BISHOP WILLIAMS IS CURRENTLY WORKING IN MINISTRY IN

CLEVELAND, OHIO UNDER THE DIRECTION OF BISHOP C.L. JONES,

THE 7TH EPISCOPAL DIOCESAN OF THE UNITED CHURCH OF JESUS

CHRIST (APOSTOLIC).

 

BISHOP WILLIAMS IS THE PRESIDENT/CEO OF THE REHOBOTH

OUTREACH BIBLE SCHOOL IN WICKLIFFE, OHIO, PRESIDENT/CEO

OF THE REHOBOTH HOUSE. A TRAINING AND RESOURCE

DEVELOPMENT CENTER, IN CLEVELAND, OHIO AND IS AN ACTIVE

MEMBER OF GOSPEL MINISTERS AND MISSION ALLIANCE IN

CLEVELAND, OHIO AND GOSPEL MINISTERS AND CHURCHES

INTERNATIONAL, IN PHOENIX, ARIZONA .

 

BISHOP WILLIAMS HOLDS SEVERAL AWARDS AND CERTIFICATES

OF TRAINING, TWO HONORARY DEGREES, A MASTER OF DIVINITY

IN COUNSELLING, AND A DOCTOR OF PHILOSOPHY IN BIBLE

STUDIES. HE IS CURRENTLY A STUDENT OF PILLAR OF TRUTH

BIBLE INSTITUTE.
